Matrix Games and Koios Works today announced that their new wargame, Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great , has Gone Gold and is due to release in Early October, 2004.
Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great allows the player to relive Alexander’s campaign through much of the known world at that time from his beginning career all the way to the farthest stretches of what was his magnificent empire. Excellent graphics fused with “chess piece” style modeling for units creates an ancient feel that fits perfectly with the time period. Along with that, Koios Works includes well-chosen background music that is not only fitting, but is culturally matched to where Alexander and his army call home. Glamour and glitz aside, Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great is looking like it will deliver the complex and demanding aspects of strategy wargaming connoisseurs ask from a historical strategy piece such as this.
