Prussia's Glory Gold

The second title in the Horse and Musket 2 series is now gold.
Strategy game publisher Shrapnel today announced that their latest edition to the Horse and Musket 2 series, Prussia's Glory, is now at gold status. Developed by the venerable Boku Strategy Games group, Prussia's Glory is now being produced at full speed and is expected to ship on November 18. Not to be confused with the GMT boardgame of the same name, Prussia's Glory was first announced in May of this year and comes as a sequel to the original Horse and Musket series title called Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine. (review) As one might expect from the title, Prussia's Glory will focus on five of Frederick the Great's most glorious battles, especially Leuthen, where 35,000 Prussians took on 65,000 Austrians and beat the stuffing out of them. In addition, four other battles are covered: Soor (1745), Lobositz (1756), Hochkirch (1758), and Torgau (1760). Don't fret at what seems to be a paltry amount of new content in Prussia's Glory, as these 5 battles will actually be comprised of seventeen completely unique scenarios.
Shrapnel continues with some additional specifics:
Prussia's Glory also advances the Horse and Musket 2 game engine, featuring several new features that help further immerse the player into the realm of 18th century warfare, all from the comfort of their desk. There are new, more historically accurate graphics for several of the regiments found within the game, and even a personal graphic for Hans von Zieten, the great Prussian Hussar general. Some cool new animation has been added, with new animations for units loading their muskets, and new animations for officers and drummers (who now beat a tattoo as the units advance). Finally, as an added bonus to all of Shrapnel's loyal strategy gamers that have already mastered Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine, Prussia's Glory will ship with a bonus scenario exclusive for that game: Action at Burkersdor (1762).
