No you read that right, its actually a game that isn't about a World War but a War World.
Lighthouse Interactive and developer Third Wave Games have released word that their mech shooter War World: Tactical Combat has reached gold status and will begin its first phase of publication: a Europe-only release. Currently scheduled to ship on February 17th to outlets across the EU, War World is interestingly described by Lighthouse as a title where "ancient enemies must settle age old conflicts through clashes of mechanized warriors in a unique combination of all-out action and active strategy." In addition, Lighthouse assured gamers that War World will have localized versions tailored to accomodate the various languages War World will be released into. German, French and Spanish were mentioned specifically but some additional languages are expected to surface soon as well.
War World involves planet-wide combat where players use futuristic mechanized warriors to battle out age-old conflicts with state-of-the-art technology.
