Several new screens lead its upcoming retail release.
Six new screens marked the impending release of Birth of America (review) to retail stores later this summer by Strategy First. The new screenshots show off this 18th century American wargame that includes the French & Indian and Revolutionary War. The game was created and released this past spring by AGEOD, but will now get retail attention thanks to the efforts of Strategy First. Some of the game's features include:
- 18th century North American Map that covers 700 provinces, with diversity of terrain, climates and civilization levels
- Dozens of unit models from the era
- Simple and intuitive handling
- Over 150 historical characters included
- 11 scenarios and 3 grand campaigns
- A very reactive AI
- Play by email option
