Gone gold announces Strategy First.
Games publisher Strategy First announced this week that Birth of America (review) had been completed for its upcoming release into North American retail stores. Strategy First intends to release the wargame to stores on August 28th. The game was originally self-published by the game developer, AGEOD, via download this past spring. The game is a strategic level, turn-based wargame set during the French & Indian War and the American Revolution. Some of its key features include:
- 18th century North American Map that covers 700 provinces, with diversity of terrain, climates and civilization levels
- Dozens of unit models from the era
- Simple and intuitive handling
- Over 150 historical characters included
- 11 scenarios and 3 grand campaigns
- A very reactive AI
