Buka released a selection of ten new screenshots from Pacific Storm: Allies, the first expansion planned for the original title of the same name. The first Pacific Storm (preview) title won't arrive in stores here in North America until this fall, but the Russian developer behind the title has already begun work on the expansion. The game is a hybrid RTS and operational-level wargame set during World War II in the Pacific Theater. In the operational-level mode, players take the role of theater commanders directing fleets into battles. In the tactical mode, players take command of individual ships or planes and participate in the battle they planned at the general's level.
CDV will release Pacific Storm to stores in North America this fall, but no release date has been announced for Pacific Storm: Allies.
