Wings Simulations' tactical shooter has been completed.
Soldner: Secret Wars (screenshots feature) has gone gold, JoWood Productions announced today. Developed by German developer Wings Simulation, the multiplayer tactical shooter has been favorably compared to Operation Flashpoint and other authentic military FPS games. In Soldner (which is German for "mercenary"), players have the ability to purchase dozens upon dozens of real-world weapons, equipment, and vehicles to accomplish team-based objectives. The game is primarily played online against 32 to 128 players, and its gameplay modes are very similar to the popular Battlefield series with conquest-style objectives.
Soldner is planned for release in Europe on May 27th and will appear on North American store shelves on June 22nd. For more on the game, visit the official web site.
